Steps to Make Roti Naan
- Step 1: Prepare the Dough
Combine MFM Peaches Self-Raising Flour, sugar and salt. Add yogurt and oil, then gradually mix in warm water until a soft dough forms. - Step 2: Knead Until Smooth
Knead the dough for about 5–7 minutes until smooth, soft and easy to handle. - Step 3: Rest the Dough
Cover the dough and let it rest for 20–30 minutes. This makes it easier to stretch and shape. - Step 4: Divide & Shape
Divide the dough into six equal portions. Roll each portion into a thin oval or traditional teardrop shape. - Step 5: Cook Until Lightly Golden
Place the naan onto a hot pan. Cook until bubbles form and golden-brown spots appear, then flip and finish cooking the other side. - Step 6: Brush & Serve
Brush the warm naan with melted butter or ghee. Add chopped coriander or garlic if desired and serve immediately with your favourite curry.
